Want to learn more about the Yardstick benchmarking project?

OPA is pleased to announce that our partner, Chris Rutherford of Yardstick Global, will be visiting Ontario in June 2016 and will make time to visit communities considering a membership in Yardstick Benchmarking for Parks or Facilities, or Yardstick Surveys for Parks or Facilities.

More than 20 Canadian communities are already a part of this international park and recreation facility benchmarking and survey system. The sessions may be tailored to your particular area of interest and held in your community at no charge to you.  This is a great opportunity to assemble your entire management team to meet with Chris and ask all the hard questions.

Declare your interest today by emailing Chris (chris@xyst.biz) to arrange a time for his visit.

You can familiarize yourself with the program by visiting the Yardstick Global website.

Highway of Heroes - A Tree for Every Hero

"When a member of our Canadian Armed Forces falls, his or her final journey is over a leg of the 401 called the Highway of Heroes. We’re turning this barren stretch of highway into a living, breathing memorial—one tree for each of the 117,000 men and women who have given their lives." (Excerpt taken from the hohtribute.ca website.)
