The Corporation of the City of Windsor is seeking a well-qualified, dynamic leader to join the Senior Leadership Team of the Parks, Recreation & Culture, and Facilities portfolio. We invite submissions for the position of Senior Manager, Parks.

Reporting to the Corporate Leader – Parks, Recreation & Culture, and Facilities, the Senior Manager, Parks position will be responsible for the planning and oversight of the City of Windsor - Parks Department with the overall goal to plan, program, organize, budget, direct and maintain all existing and future greenspace with associated infrastructure throughout the municipality. Will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Parks Department by establishing, implementing and monitoring annual work programs encompassing all projects, processes and initiatives of the four department divisions, comprised of Parks Development, Parks Operations, Horticulture and Forestry & Natural Areas.

In addition to your University degree or Community College Diploma in Parks Management, Horticulture, Forestry, Business, Public Administration or other related field with advanced courses/qualifications in areas such as Administration, Construction, Horticulture, Forestry, Labour Relations and Communications you will have the required years of experience years of progressively responsible experience in the municipal parks, recreation, construction or facilities field.
