YARDSTICK PARKCHECK PROJECT USER GROUP MEETING
May 2017
The Yardstick User Group meetings are designed as an opportunity for members of the Yardstick Parks project to get together to review the results of the project for 2017 and to discuss the implications of these results for our various operations. In addition, the user groups provide the means to discuss enhancements for the future and refinements to questions and data we may wish to benchmark in 2018.
Chris Rutherford, Project Director will lead the User Group discussions in BC, Alberta and Ontario.
The User Group meetings usually last approximately 3 hours, followed by lunch and then a field visit to a local project that the host organization wishes to showcase. This provides a full day of networking and sharing best practices. Member organizations are encouraged to send several representatives where possible. Non member organizations are also welcome to attend if they would like to find out more about the Yardstick Benchmarks Project.
