The Corporation of the City of Windsor is seeking well-qualified, dynamic leaders to join their Senior Management Team. We invite submissions for the senior position of:

Corporate Leader - Parks, Corporate Facilities, Recreation & Culture

Windsor, Ontario is the country’s most southerly city and gateway to Canada through North America’s busiest international border crossing. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and as part of the senior management team of the municipality (Corporate Leadership Team), this position will be responsible for providing the leadership and strategic direction required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Parks, Corporate Facilities, and Recreation & Culture portfolios. Direct reports to this position include the following positions: Administrative Assistant, Manager of Horticulture, Manager of Parks Development, Manager of Parks Operations, City Forester/Manager of Forestry and Natural Areas, Senior Manager of Facilities, and Executive Director of Recreation & Culture.

Applicants must possess a university degree in an applicable field of study such as Business, Engineering, Recreation, Parks Administration and Management, Horticulture or Forestry or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and over ten (10) years of executive level senior management experience in the field of business management, operations management, recreation, municipal parks, or facilities. The ideal candidate must be an effective decision-maker, demonstrating innovations, results-oriented leadership, fiscal responsibility and strong customer service orientation.
